Many of the newsletter articles of the Washington Esperanto Society of the nineties constitute what would be great blog posts today. My favorite is the one titled BUILD UP YOUR ENGLISH THROUGH ESPERANTO, in the issue of 93/12.
In the last few days, I've run across two new pages of Esperanto links that are both worth sharing. The number of interesting resources for Esperanto on the Internet is growing every day -- it's hard to keep up!

So, you want to get started learning Esperanto? Esperanto-USA has a wide variety of learning material to help you on your way. All items are available in our online bookstore (Retbutiko), along with thousands of other books, CDs, pins, postcards, and more.
The Internet and Esperanto are ideal partners. There are dozens of free online resources for learning Esperanto, most available for free.
One of the best websites for learning Esperanto is Lernu.net. Lernu is a multi-lingual site with several free online courses at different levels, from complete beginner to more advanced. Some courses pair you up with an experienced Esperanto tutor, who can answer your questions and help you along. Read descriptions of available free courses.
Today I came across those issues of Amerika Esperantisto that I found a few years ago. Most are from 1908 and 1909... Hey, 100 years old! I should scan 'em and post 'em periodically, wish I'd thought of this a few months ago, but better late than never I guess... So, from June 100 years ago...

The Esperanto club at University of Illinois has been going rather swimmingly. Total, there's about 12 people who actually come to meetings, though there's been some definite interest so I imagine more will be coming soon. That's more than I expected in such a short time with so little publicity.
The last time I blogged about China Radio International's Esperanto offerings, I had a hangup with the way their wrote and read their reports.
But now… I can't access their shows at all.
