Do, mi petis blogon. Mi ricevis permeson. Mia konto havas tiun promesantan ligilon, "Krei novan blogan afiŝon." Mi sidas; mi pretas skribi ion. Ion ajn. Venu, ideoj! Venu al mi... Mi atendas...
Kaj mi trovas ke mi havas nenion diri. Diable. Kie estas la fajrero...tiu inspiro?
Ŝajnas ke eĉ se mi lernas novan lingvon, verkpovon tio ne garantias. Tiu afero povus esti pli malfacila ol mi pensis. Verŝajne helpus se mi povus verki angle...
(suspiron)
Eble morgaŭ inspiro vizitos...

Mi ne estas verkisto, sed placxas al mi traduki de la Angla al Esperanto. Mi sercxas Anglajn artikolojn en la interreto kaj en librojn, kiujn mi povas traduki por praktiki Esperanton. Ankaux mia familio donas al mi historiojn por traduko (mia patrino estas verkisto).
Tamen, mi bone komprenas, kiel vi sentas, cxar mi ofte ne havas ideojn por mia blogo. :)

Parenteze, ĉu vi konsideris sendi viajn tradukojn de interesaj artikoloj al Radio Verda?

Dankon pro la afablaj komentoj. Mi ne scias pri Radio Verda. Mi estas nur ankoraux komencanto (ekde la 11a de Auxgusto 2009). Mi dubas, ke ili volus tradukojn de komencanto.
I'm extremely slow right now regarding Esperanto. I'm not yet able to spontaneously speak or write Esperanto very well. I still need to look up most of the words. It takes all day to translate some of the longer articles. However, I learn best by doing it this way and having the advanced esperantists correct me. Also, when I listen to Esperanto or watch various Youtube videos, I follow very well and understand almost everything! So it's just my "output" that is slow right now. I also read every day and listen to Radio Verda or watch La Pasporto al la Tuta Mondo.
Another thing that is extremely helfpul is that I'm reading through the PMEG like a novel. I am absorbing as much as I can from that book. It's an excellent book! I'm also working through the Doktoro Benson book. It's a good one with tons of pictures. I probably spend several hours a day, spread throughout the day, working with Esperanto in one way or another.
I enjoy editing even in English, and I love translating into Esperanto. I don't need ideas that way. :) I just try to translate as closely as possible to the English. Some idioms and slang just don't exist in Esperanto, but the stories can still be cute anyway. I don't try to translate word for word, but somewhat closely, since that's how the writer intended it. As long as it makes sense to foreigners, I'm happy. I try to write the Esperanto assuming the reader is a total non-English speaker.
It's very fun and rewarding to know Esperanto. I'm glad I joined E-USA so I can get help from the advanced people. In a year or two I should be pretty advanced myself.

Even years from now I want to be aware of my errors or "oddities" in Esperanto, so I can correct them. I believe learning is a lifelong journey, not a destination.
